Monash Children’s Simulation is happy to announce they are able to offer this course to nurses and trainees for $50!
NHET-Sim (National Health Education and Training in Simulation) is a nationwide program for healthcare professionals and educators who use, or plan to use, simulation as an educational method. It combines online modules with in-person workshops, developed and reviewed by simulation leaders across Australia and internationally.
Two modules are running, facilitated by Dr Marijke Mitchell and Dr Preeti Ramaswamy:
Debriefing in Simulation (S9) — 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Reflect on your own debriefing practice and the conditions that make debriefing effective. Participants share experiences, practise techniques, receive feedback, and set goals for ongoing development.
Developing Scenarios (S10) — 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Scenario design underpins simulation-based education. This module covers the planning and iteration behind high-quality scenarios, and the factors that enable and constrain their implementation.
