About Monash Toxicology

Monash Health's Clinical Toxicology Unit, the VAMPIRE Network, and who's who in the team.

The unit

Monash Health's Clinical Toxicology Unit is based at Dandenong Hospital and is one of only two TAPNA-accredited toxicology units in Victoria. It provides 24-hour in-patient, bedside and consultation toxicology treatment and advice across all Monash Health campuses, and is accredited for six months of full-time special skills and TSP4 training with ACEM.

VAMPIRE Network

Monash Health's toxicologists work alongside Austin Health's Toxicology Service and the Victorian Poisons Information Centre as the Victorian Austin-Monash Poisons Information Research and Education (VAMPIRE) Network - a joint clinical, research and education collaboration that also provides consultative support to the Victorian and New South Wales Poisons Information Centres.
